The old man used to say to me, "Boy,"

(I was a boy then, you see.)

"If you see a red line,"

"glowing, vertical, in the center of your enemy's forehead,"

"don't wait. Strike fast to the solar plexus,"

"because he is about to kill you."

The old man was right, much of the time.


that some people just kind of have that line all the time,

even in church.
